CCR question 1
Q) How does your product represent a social group or issues?
Our product is not just about the universal experience of loss, but it also symbolizes the strong bonds of brotherhood and twinhood, as well as traditional family relationships. Through the story of the two brothers at the heart of our project, we explore the deep connections that can exist between siblings, and how those bonds can provide solace and comfort even in the face of tragedy. By tapping into the unique relationship between brothers, we hope to connect with a wide range of audiences, including those who have experienced the loss of a sibling or those who have strong familial bonds.
The social issue we targeted is death and challenge traditional gender stereotypes, particularly when it comes to boys and their emotions. Typically, brothers are shown to not get along or to be less emotional when a loved one passes away. However, our project challenges this stereotype by depicting the deep emotional bond between two brothers, and the intense grief that comes with losing someone you love. Through our project, we aim to provide a new perspective on the traditional portrayal of male emotions and help to break down stereotypes that limit the way we think about grief and loss.
By focusing on the unique relationship between brothers and challenging traditional gender stereotypes, our project offers a fresh perspective on the universal experience of loss. We hope to connect with a wide range of audiences who can relate to the deep emotional connections between siblings, and who may have experienced the pain of losing someone they love. Through our project, we aim to create a sense of unity and understanding around the issue of grief and loss, and to promote a more compassionate and inclusive approach to this universal human experience.
